Question
I made a recipe for cornbread, whose main ingredients were 1 3/4 cups cornmeal, 1 cup mashed pumpkin, and only 3/4 cups flour. The main liquids were honey (1/2 cup) and soymilk (1 cup). What Bracha should be said for this cornbread?
Answer
According to Spharadim it would be a Mezonot.
According to Ashkenazim if the dominant ingredient is flour it's Hamotzi.
