I have heard that Adam’s fall was seven years after his creation. Is this true?

Perhaps you are referring to the Midrash that says that "Adam's dirt was collected on the first hour... he sinned on the tenth...". You might have heard an explanation that the 'hours' in the Midrash are actually years. I am unfamiliar with such an explanation. Rabbi S.Y. Weitzen
