Question
What is the din of "brich hu" which is answered after "kudsha" in kaddish, in nusach ashkenaz? Is it the same as for answering amen, or not. In other words, can it be recited when the davener is "bein haprakim"?
Answer
It is not like "amen" and cannot be recited even during pesukei d'zimra (Ishei Yisrael 16 5- quoting many sources).
