Animal sacrifice(blood) for intentional sin

Question
When there was a standing Temple, did the Jewish Bible permit animal sacrifice(blood) for intentional sin?
Answer
Shalom, Thank you for your question. When a person commits a sin intentionally, ("mazid" in Hebrew) they do not get to bring a sacrifice in the Temple. Rather, their punishment is more serious - ranging from a death sentence, lashes, or spiritual excommunication. A sacrifice was brought for unintentional sins. Blessings.
