Repeated Bíracha Over Fruit After Benching
If during a meal with bread, I eat fruit of the tree after saying the bíracha over it, donít finish it and then Idue to family pressures, I bench. Do I have repeat the bíracha over this fruit or does the orignial bíracha count considering that the fruit is not considered part of the bread meal? What if I have it in mind to not have the benching count towards the fruit?
If one has benched than one has to make a bracha again on the fruit. However, if one has Kavana - has in mind that Birkat Hamazon will not include the fruit one may continue eating after benching.
